Pain is an inevitable part of chronic subacute inflammatory disorders and although there are many analgesics available for chronic mild intermittent joint pain; topical oils are often preferred being effective, safe, convenient and economical. These topical application Oils contain counter irritants and rubefacients, which had been well studied in terms of its pharmacological properties. Their pharmacological properties are thought to have a variety of mechanisms, including blocking effects on local nerve fibres, depletion of neurotransmitters and engagement of the “gate control” mechanism.

Dolomec Relif Oil is a polyherbal formulation and it contains extracts of Carum copticum Oil, Mentha piperita, Mustard Oil, Zingiber officinale. It relieves pain the natural way with deep tissue penetration made possible because of the small structured molecules of natural oils and added penetration enhancers.

Mode of Application

Dolomec Relief oil is to be applied generously to the affected area and massaged. Conditions where massage is not allowed then foment the area with a towel soaked in lukewarm water and dry. Now apply the oil generously and gently rub.

The increased circulation to the affected area by the fomentation will help transdermal penetration of the oil and provide speedy relief. The oil is to be massaged once in the morning and once at bedtime. When pain subsides the frequency of oil application may be reduced to once daily.
